FAQ
Do I really need to hire a organizer?

Do you keep telling yourself that you are going to clean out the garage, guest room, closet, etc., but never do?

Disorganization and clutter can be overwhelming. If you don’t know where to start, most likely you will never get started. An organizer can guide, encourage, and teach clients about the principles of organizing by offering support, focus and direction making the process more manageable- and sometimes even fun!

An organizer can guide you through the process and provide you with the tips, techniques resources and skills to organize the space and create systems for each individuals needs so you will be able to maintain the space long after we are finished.

What are the steps involved in the process?

The first step is a free phone consultation in which our consultants ask a couple of quick questions to understand the clients specific needs and budget. We decide on a package that best fits those needs and set up an appointment. Different packages offer different steps, but our most common package follows three basic steps. Purge the trash or any objects that no longer fit your lifestyle, sort the items we are keeping into categories, and custom organize the space to create a system that will work for your personality type and create an aesthetically pleasing and productive space.

Will the Art of Order make me throw away my belongings?

No. We will help you make informed decisions about what is important, what should be displayed, and what should be archieved, as well as what is no longer useful for your current lifestyle. Ultimately the client always makes the final decision. Our goal is to help you achieve your vision for the space
